Java Full Stack Developer – Remote / Hybrid – Sri Lanka

We are seeking a proficient Java Full Stack Developer to join one of our European client teams. You will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Java-based backend technologies alongside modern frontend frameworks, delivering scalable and efficient solutions.

This role is open to professionals residing in the EU or holding valid European work authorization. Remote and hybrid working options are available depending on client preferences. Both freelance and full-time contracts are offered.

🎯 Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js), and relational/non-relational databases

• Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality software solution

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices

• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs and web services

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security

• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and agile development processes

• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across frontend and backend components

• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements

📌 Required Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Java Full Stack Developer

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot framework

• Proficient with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)

• Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken)

• Must reside within the EU or hold valid EU work authorization
