Web Designer – Remote / Hybrid – Europe-Based

We are actively looking for a creative and detail-driven Web Designer to join our client’s digital design team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in visual design, user experience, and front-end fundamentals, with a proven ability to deliver responsive, clean, and conversion-focused websites.

This role is open to EU-based candidates or individuals with valid EU work authorization. Both freelance and full-time engagements are possible. Remote-first with options for hybrid collaboration depending on the client.

🎯 Responsibilities:

• Design modern, responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript best practices

• Translate brand identity and marketing goals into effective UI/UX layouts for desktop and mobile

• Collaborate with content teams, developers, and marketing stakeholders to deliver optimized web pages

• Maintain and iterate on design systems, color schemes, typography, and reusable UI components

• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

• Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and devices (cross-browser testing)

• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and SEO (PageSpeed, Lighthouse, etc.)

• Stay updated on design trends, UI frameworks, and web standards

• Participate in QA to ensure pixel-perfect delivery and functional excellence
  
  

📌 Required Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3–6 years of hands-on web design experience for startups, agencies, or enterprise teams

• Proficient in HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), and basic JavaScript for interface logic

• Familiarity with front-end tools such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Material UI

• Experience using CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Contentful) is a strong advantage

• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles

• Ability to manage assets using version control tools like Git

• Strong attention to visual detail, layout structure, and user-centered design principles

• Fluent in English; other European languages are a bonus

• Must be based in the EU or hold a valid European work permit
