We are currently hiring an experienced UI/UX Engineer for a key European client specializing in next-generation digital platforms. This role combines design thinking with technical frontend implementation, focused on delivering seamless, elegant, and accessible user experiences across web and mobile interfaces.
The position is open to EU-based candidates. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are available depending on project location. Contractors and full-time employees are welcome to apply. Work permit sponsorship and relocation support are provided where required.
Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive, functional, and visually engaging digital interfaces
Design responsive UIs using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, ensuring accessibility and usability standards (WCAG 2.1)
Build and implement interactive prototypes and design systems for handoff to development teams
Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure design consistency and performance
Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance user engagement and satisfaction
Maintain and evolve component libraries, design tokens, and UI guidelines in collaboration with developers
Ensure consistency across platforms (web, tablet, mobile) with pixel-perfect attention to detail
Create journey maps, wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
Advocate for the user in every step of the product lifecycle
Bachelor's or Master's in Interaction Design, HCI, Digital Design, or a related field
5+ years of experience in UI/UX roles with a focus on SaaS or enterprise-grade web products
Deep knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools (Framer, InVision, Axure)
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and design-to-code handoff best practices
Understanding of HTML/CSS, responsive grid systems, and component-based UI structures
Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG), usability testing, and behavior-driven design
Strong portfolio demonstrating clean aesthetics, UX logic, and measurable results
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional EU languages are a plus
Must be eligible to work in the EU or hold a valid work permit
