Senior .NET Developer (C#) – Remote / Hybrid – Europe-Based

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer (C#) to support mission-critical applications for one of our European enterprise clients. The role involves working on modernizing legacy systems, building new web APIs, and contributing to cloud-based service architecture in .NET Core.

This opportunity is open to candidates based in the EU or those with valid European work authorization. Full-time and contractor engagements are available. Remote and hybrid options offered depending on client location and project needs.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for high-traffic platforms

• Collaborate with front-end teams, DevOps engineers, and architects on full-stack delivery

• Write automated unit and integration tests using xUnit, MSTest, or NUnit

• Optimize system performance, caching strategies, and database queries

• Work with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and LINQ for data access layers

• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and sprint ceremonies

• Implement security best practices including role-based access, JWT, and API throttling

• Contribute to CI/CD workflows (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

• Maintain documentation and provide third-level support as required
  
  

📌 Required Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level development using C# and .NET frameworks

• Deep experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and REST services

• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and database design

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services, Docker, and modern CI/CD tooling

• Knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect) and secure coding practices

• Agile team experience with Git version control, Jira, and Agile methodologies

• Fluent in English; other EU languages are a plus

• Must be an EU citizen or possess a valid European work permit
