Senior Python Developer – Remote / Hybrid – Europe-Based

We are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our European client’s agile development team working on scalable, data-driven platforms and automation systems. The role involves working with modern Python frameworks and cloud-native infrastructure in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

This opportunity is open to professionals based in the EU or those holding valid European work authorization. Both contractor and full-time employment options are available. Remote-first culture with relocation support for the right candidate.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable backend applications using Python 3.x and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI

• Build RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, manage authentication and data integrity

• Integrate third-party services and internal tools (OAuth2, webhooks, cloud services, etc.)

• Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

• Automate workflows and scripts for data processing, cloud services, or dev tasks

• Write unit and integration tests with Pytest, Unittest, or similar frameworks

• Deploy and maintain applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with front-end developers and DevOps teams in agile sprints

• Document software solutions and participate in code reviews

• Maintain application security and monitor system performance
  
  

📌 Required Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of hands-on development with Python in production environments

• Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and Pythonic design principles

• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, including ORM usage

• Experience integrating with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Familiarity with message queues (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus

• Solid experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD tools, and agile delivery

• Knowledge of container orchestration and monitoring tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Prometheus)

• Fluent in English; additional EU languages are advantageous

• Must be based in Europe or legally authorized to work in the EU
